HAF XM - Don't Underestimate
Chino, California – April 24th, 2012 - Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer today announced what amounts to the pure essence of the HAF X packed into a mid-tower size, the HAF XM.
Never Compromise
Rising to the level of the HAF (High Air Flow) legends before it, HAF XM supports an unprecedented four 200mm fans (Top x 2, Front, and Side) and a 140mm rear exhaust fan. With this, HAF XM contains a virtual hurricane’s force worth of airflow within its walls that will provide even the most extreme setups with cool air in excess of their needs. HAF XM harnesses the best of both cooling worlds by offering users support for the liquid side of cooling with space for up to a 2 x 140mm fan radiator up top and a 140mm radiator in the rear.
Enthusiast Mindset
Delivering the features enthusiast builders expect, HAF XM incorporates a 90° rotated side panel with a latched handle for the easiest access to core system components. 8+1 expansion slots offer space for multiple graphics cards setup in NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFire with accompanying sound and other add-on cards to vastly expand the capabilities of a system.
Users can setup a massive HDD or SSD array with support for up to nine drives. This includes two X-Dock slots and a 2.5” HDD/SSD mounting point on the back of the motherboard tray. A rich front I/O panel offers access to two super speed USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0, audio in and out, and FAN LED control. Today’s pocket contents become tomorrow’s desk clutter. HAF XM assists in preventing this clutter by including a non-slip rubber pad on the top of the chassis for placing personal belongings.
Smarter Cable Management
By increasing overall interior space and attachment points for cables, HAF XM opens the door for more elegant and detailed management of cables. Extra space behind the motherboard tray allowed our engineers to include a feature that is often limited to those that are willing to mod their case to achieve. This is the 2.5” HDD/SSD mount on the back of the motherboard tray. With this, most of the system cables can be located behind the motherboard tray. Those cables that must appear in the front have the benefit of a HAF X inspired sliding PSU cover, ensuring that a system can easily be setup to look as though it were expertly managed.
HAF XM will be made available on April 24th, 2012. Price and availability may vary by region. Please direct all inquiries to your local Cooler Master Representative. Click here for more details.
