• Step 3: Loop the tempered five-foot locking cable around an immovable object like a table leg or chair.

The Security Clamp is built around a specially designed ball that tightens to adjust the clamp to tables, shelves, desktops or other flat surfaces up to 1.8 of an inch thick. Prior to locking the Cable Lock System to the laptop, slide the unique ball upward to thread the cable through the middle of the ball to ensure it is locked, preventing the clamp from loosening until the user is ready to release it.
