You're Not Rad Unless You're TOTALLY RAD!

    One of my absolute favorite podcast's is called The Totally Rad Show. If you have an iPod or an iPhone (or whatever else can play podcast), and you like movies, TV Shows, Video Games or Comic Books, then you really need to check out their podcast. It's a high quality production and completely free. I just subscribe to the podcast through my iTunes. There's five episodes a week (daily) and each one is a new topic. It's always entertaining, even if you're not interested in the subject covered because these guys are just funny together.

I'm a movie buff and strongly recommend this podcast. It's just plain cool and causes me to laugh out loud on a regular basis. :-)

Who Else is Missing the Glory Days of WVU Football?

  There was just something special going to a WVU Mountaineer football game a few years back. It feels like just yesterday I was giddy with excitement for the next WVU game to watch Pat White and Steve Slaton tear up the turf. We got as close as one game away from a National Championship! 

Oh how the years pass by so fast. Our beloved Pat White doesn't even play football anymore. After a rough stint with the Miami Dolphins, he's now playing minor league baseball with the Kansas City Royals. Slaton is still (barely) with the Houston Texans in the NFL. 

It's sad when the good times are gone, but rather than live in the past, we must feel blessed to have been a part of such an exciting time for WVU football. I will never forget those days, the electric feeling in the crowd, the chants of "Let's go!!...Mountaineers!!" from the thousands of screaming students and fans.

If you haven't attended a WVU football game in your college journey so far, you really need to. Especially when they're doing good, it's not just a game, it's an experience you'll never forget.

    Did anyone else see these badass Nascar Transformers during the Daytona 500 on Sunday? They were on hand at the track, but also they will be in Transformers 3 coming this summer. I can't wait, they look awesome! I don't know about you, but I want one.

 Such a nice day today in Morgantown on the WVU campus. Teachers were cool letting us out early in some classes, including Comm 293H (holla!). Above is a badass pic I took after class using the iPhone and the 360 app. I frickin love this app. The pictures it takes are beyond words. You don't realize how cool something really is until you see the WHOLE thing in the same picture. Peace!

What's Your Social Media Avenue of Choice?

Today there are just so many different avenues to let your social butterfly take flight. What's your choice? How many times a day do you update your particular social media application? Persinally, I like Facebook for most tasks. I have family out of state and this really helps keep them all informed on the what's going on with my family here. Just think back a few years to when you and no one you knew were using Facebook. How was life different then? If you really think about it, not only will it be hard to "remember the time", but you'll also be amazed at how you lived without it!
