Installation: The small installation guide is informative and to the point. Showing all the information a user would/could want in a quick glance form factor. This takes the guessing out of your installation process, which should be extremely quick. Just plug in and go. Testing: For testing, I just ran a simple Sisoft Sandra hard drive test using my spare 3.5" drive I had lying around. The target market for this unit is those looking for simple backup and not looking for the absolute fastest solution available (which would be e-sata by the way) so I see no need in going crazy benchmarking this unit. Conclusion: The Kingwin EZ-Dock 2 is an extremely easy to use unit that will fit in nicely with many typical computer users out there looking for a simple backup solution. This unit does not support the "one touch backup" function, however it is still an effective solution for most users willing to simply drag and drop their files and folders over to it. There are many other modes and settings with this unit that I did not have the opportunity to test, however most of you will be using the most basic function of simply plugging it in and using it on default. I would like to thank Kingwin for allowing me to give you guys a closer look at this product. I highly recommend it.
